Service Education starts when Intern continually accomplishes positional goals and has exceptional attendance and performance. Intern must be able to accomplish goals without the lead of reminders of other team members. However team members are here for guidance in this program.

This is an assessment period where the intern accomplished goals.  (3 to 9 months period.)

 

Compensation

 

Pay Type: Hourly at Minimum Wage and Tips.

 

Schedule

 

Hours and days vary upon one’s Engagement, Goals, Performance and Salon Goal.

Average length of time in position has been 9 to 18 months or pending upon attendance and performance.

 

Advancement: To New Talent

 

When all goals are continuously met, attendance, engagement and performance goals are great! And when a new Intern is hired and succeeding for 6-9 months. We encourage team staff to help in recruiting future team members.

 

 

Creative New Talent

"Apprentice In Training"

Internship member has accomplished their goals including customer service, customer consultation, service and product educational skill sets.

 

Understands all products that salon uses in our services and suggestions to customers for their home maintenance.

Demonstrates team support when not performing services on clients. Supports other staff members, Creative Talent, Master Talent and Team Lead to Blow-dry, Apply Touch-ups and oversees processing services while mastering their own skill sets and building their clientele.

Intern agrees to continued improvement of skill sets through attending and sharing educational events both In-salon and suggested Out of Salon Educational Events.

 

Compensation

 

Service Pay type = 10.00 per hour + tips for up to 12 months / Commission Compensation when Average Sales Threshold is accomplished.

After 12 months “Sales Thresholds Commission Compensation” Only.  See below Threshold Sales Commission Rates.

 

Sales Threshold Commission Rates:

 

Service Sales Total Multilevel Commission Pay (Threshold % Rate)

 

Service Pay type = Commission Based with

Threshold Service sales 0.00- 1500.00= 42%

Threshold Service sales 1500.- 2400.00= 45%

Threshold Service sales 2400.- 2800.00= 47%

Threshold Service sales 2800.- Up. = 50%

 

Schedules

 

32- 40 hour work week.

Hours may vary dependent on salons needs and members productivity rate.

 

Shifts

 

12:30/2:30-7:30 = 6/8 hour shift 2 days

9:30-3:30/5:30 pm = 6/ 8 hour shift 2 days

 

Saturday hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Self-evaluation of skills is vital. We are all hear to help keep the thirst for new skills.

 

Advancement

 

A salon artist having the time to enjoy, access, advise and perform an exceptional service to clients is imperative! Proper scheduling is a must.

 

 Everyone has the right to growth. The challenges of skills and time available is a true gauge of one’s quality of performance and value of service and advancement.

 

When a salon artist becomes 80% performance productive, the salon artist deserves a price increase for their increased valued of time and service. This would be a time for self assessment. Either or both position and service rate must be considered.

 

 Advancement of position and valued service would be increased by 6%.

When all goals are continuously met, attendance, will and performance goals are great! Pending New Intern is hired/and the immediate Intern advances to New Talent and succeeding for 6-9 months.

 

Creative Talent

In-salon Stylist of two or more years experience in salon.

 

Newly hired stylist must have two to three years experience and interview to access skill levels and knowledge for placement of positions. A  willingness to acquire team member skill sets and goals.

 

Stylist who continually meets team, educational and performance goals.

 

Certified to perform salon consultations to new and existing clients, knowledgeable in all services and products that our salon offers.

 

Supports Salon Goals and Team Goals when Intern/New Talent is busy helping with all salon and team goals while building their own service goals.

 

Service booking goal average 80%.

 

 Understands all products that salon uses in our services and suggestions to customers for their home maintenance.
